JAN DE KREIJ

Jan A. de Kreij is the CEO of of Holland based Corio N.V., a prominent real estate investmnet company through Europe with its investments on retail and shopping centers and listed on Amsterdam and Paris Stock Exchanges. Corio's portfolio of € 6.0 billion is spread over objects in the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain  and Turkey, with an emphasis on dominant centres in their catchment area. Corio has been granted a 46.9% interest as the major subscriber in the IPO of Akmerkez GYO, which owns 96.5% of the leading shopping centre Akmerkez in Istanbul and opened its office in the city in 2006.

Born in 1942, Jan de Kreij receieved his drs degree on  Master Business Economics, Amsterdam 1966. He served as an executive in various countries throughout his career and
he joined Corio as of 2001. He was appointed CEO as of 1 May 2004
Jan is a member of the ULI  executive committee in Washington and holds several other supervisory and advisory positions in various (investment) companies. He has more than 23 years of experience in real estate.
