BRUNO ACCOU

Bruno Accou has been appointed managing director and member of the Board of Directors Denizbank A.Ş. as from October 2006. Born in 1961, Belgian, Bruno Accou is holder of a degree in Applied Economics. He graduated with honors in 1983 from “Rijksuniversiteit Gent”. He also has a special degree in Accountancy. Bruno Accou started his career in 1985 as Senior Auditor with Ernst & Young. In 1987 he joined Sofinal-Cotesa as a Financial Controller, later as General Manager Sofiprint and finally as Manager affiliates and subsidiaries Group Sofinal, he was also member of the Management Committee. In 1993 he joined KBC Securities nv as Manager Corporate Finance & M&A. From 1999 till 2003 he was Managing Director KBC Securities and Head of Corporate Finance. His main responsibilities were Equity Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Advise (fairness opinions, valuations,…). In 2003 he moved to BAMnv (Beheersmaatschappij Antwerpen Mobiel) as CEO and Chairman of the Management Committee. BAM has been set up to finance, realise and manage the Antwerp Mobility Masterplan and to exploit the traffic infrastructure in the Antwerp region. Bruno Accou has joined as head of Corporate Banking Dexia Bank Belgium as from October 2005.
