KARL EDDY
Karl Eddy has significant experience in regeneration and joint venture structuring and working. Karl Eddy, leads Grant Thornton's regeneration practice nationally and will bring a wealth of understanding of the issues faced in setting up regeneration JVs. He also has advised on a wider range of developments involving both the public and private sector. He is leading on the ODA framework and relationships with Communities and Local Government, Housing Corporation, English Partnerships and a range of private sector partners. He is a member of the RICS Regeneration Panel and advises its Sustainable Communities Panel. Grant Thornton provides an integrated regeneration, housing, sport and leisure offering. Its aim, through combined teams of economists, engineers, surveyors and accountants is to support the assessment of major projects (through the testing of the feasibility and the development of the business case), supporting partners in the transaction and economic evaluation of outcomes. The company’s experience spreads across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. Some of the recent projects include; the development of the exit strategy for the Athens Olympic marina, supporting the feasibility work for the 2010 World Cup. For the Olympic Delivery Authority, we are currently preparing an Olympic Legacy Park business plan for London Olympics.
