DR. ANN HEYWOOD

Ann began her career in the public sector (MAFF), offering advice to local authorities as to the environmental impact of development proposals. Having achieved professional recognition (RICS), she moved into private practice and became a Director of RPS. Ann was elected Green Surveyor of the Year by the RICS in 1998 for her work in balancing the competing environmental, land use and financial needs of land portfolios. Ann’s most recent project experience is the overview of sustainability for the major leisure and tourism scheme of Center Parc’s fifth holiday village at Woburn. In January 2007 Ann took up the role of Principal of the College of Estate Management.
