ERTUĞ YAŞAR

Born in Turkey in 1965. Obtained his BA in Bosphorus University (İstanbul), BA Department in 1989. Received his first MA from Marmara University (İstanbul), EU Institute. Received his second MA from College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Continuing his PhD in Marmara University (İstanbul), EU Institute. Worked for İstanbul Textile Exporters Association (İTKİB) between 1991 and 1993. Joined DEBANT, a Turkish industrial packaging material manufacturer, in 1994. He served as Deputy General Manager and Board Member until 2006. Became General Manager of HAN YAPI Gayrimenkul at the end of 2006. Board Member of European Textile Association for Polyolefins (EATP) until end 2006 Board Member of European FIBC Association (EFIBCA) until end 2006. Board Member of Turkish Textile Exporters Association (ITKIB). Also writes economic articles in daily Turkish newspapers. Speaks Turkish, English and French. Married with one child.
